Rockey Africa partners with Jewell Souls Foundation to feed over 80 children
In a heartwarming show of corporate responsibility and community care, Rockey Africa Limited has partnered with Jewell Souls Foundation to support over 80 vulnerable children with food supplies over the next four months. The partnership, valued at KES 200,000, was officially launched in a ceremony attended by representatives from both organisations.
The initiative aims to provide consistent, nutritious meals to children under the care of Jewell Souls Foundation—an NGO dedicated to transforming the lives of orphans and vulnerable youth. By addressing food insecurity, the program hopes to keep children energized, focused, and motivated to remain in school.
Carol Ndung’u, Director of Jewell Souls Foundation, emphasized the critical role that daily meals play in the lives of the children: “For these kids, food is more than a basic need, it’s their motivation to keep showing up to school and stay off the streets.”
In addition to food donations, Rockey Africa also presented electronic equipment to Laurence Amuli, a passionate young TVET graduate and aspiring electrician. Laurence, whose education was cut short after primary school, impressed guests by showcasing a Bluetooth speaker he crafted from scratch, an early sign of his technical talent and innovation.
Robert Kamau Wachira, CEO of Rockey Africa Limited, reaffirmed the company’s mission: “Our purpose at Rockey Africa is to change one life at a time and hope for a chain reaction. This partnership with Jewell Souls Foundation is a reflection of our commitment to equal opportunities for all.”
Together, Rockey Africa and Jewell Souls Foundation aim to create lasting change in the lives of young Kenyans—one meal, one child, and one dream at a time.
